Friendly Reminder - Fall leaf collection will be starting on October 23, 2023.
Collection will occur on the same day of the week as your regularly scheduled trash and recycling pickup day.
Residents DO NOT need to email or call for leaf pickup
Collection will occur the following weeks: The last full week of October through the first full week of December.
The Department of Public Works is pleased to announce its road improvement and resurfacing project for 2022. The following roads are scheduled to be resurfaced:
Fern Lane – from Flat Rock to Eastwood.
O’Neil Lane – entire road.
Flat Rock Road – from house #31 to #42.
The State of CT Department of Transportation will begin paving Friday, May 13, 2022 along Limewood Avenue. Paving will continue on Monday, May 16 (weather permitting) and will impact vehicles traveling in and out of Waverly and Crouch Roads as the pavement needs to cool before vehicles will be allowed on it. Motorists and residents are cautioned that they may experience traffic delays or detours. Please avoid the area, if possible, to avoid delay or conflict.

Connecticut Orthopaedic Specialists Outpatient Surgical Center, LLC and HHC Surgery Center Holdings, LLC intend to file a Certificate of Need Application with the State of Connecticut Office of Health Strategy, pursuant to Section 19a-638 of the Connecticut General Statutes, for the change in governance control of an outpatient surgical facility.
The Town has posted the DRAFT 2023 Stormwater Annual Report for the Discharge of Stormwater from Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4). The report will be available for public review and comment on the Engineering Page of the Town of Branford’s Website on February 15th, 2024, found here.
