The shelter is now open to the public from 11 am until 3 pm every day. Feel free to visit the many guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, dogs, puppies, cats and kittens! Oh and our chickens and ducks are here too (they are not for adoption but are providing education for children at animal camp.)
If you need an application to adopt go to https://www.branford-ct.gov/departments/animal-shelter/adoption ! If you do not have access to fill out the application online feel free to come to the animal shelter with your drivers license , vet information, housing info (including lease if you rent) and we will help you fill it out online .

Animal Camp 2024
This is a week long camp. The dates below represent the start of that week. For example, if you choose June 24, 2024 you will be signed up for the week (June 24th - June 28th). Please fill out the application on this link
For ages 4 & 5 year olds
Camp operates 10AM - 1PM Price for the week - $200 Weeks for this age group include: August 12th - August 16th
For ages 6, 7 & 8 year olds
Camp operates 9AM - 3PM Price for the week - $300 Weeks for this age group include: June 24th - 28th July 8th - July 12th July 15 - July 19
For ages 9,10 & 11 year olds
Camp operates 9AM - 3PM Price for the week - $300 Weeks for this age group include: July 22nd - July 26th July 29th - August 2nd August 5 - August 9th
If you register before March 18th. You will receive $10 off the price shown above.
