COVID-19 AT HOME RAPID TEST KITS AVAILABLE - FOR BRANFORD RESIDENTS
Residents are encouraged to self-test prior to holiday gatherings to continue to protect yourself and other from COVID-19. In an effort to support self-testing, the town will be offering a limited number of state issued COVID-19 At Home Rapid Test Kits for Branford residents.
Beginning Monday, April 11, 2022 individuals should contact the Canoe Brook Senior Center at 203-315-0683 to request a free test kit. Test kits are limited to one box per adult (18+) living in the household with a maximum of two boxes per household on a first come, first serve basis, while supplies last. Proof of residency is also required.
Do not come to the Canoe Brook Senior Center unless you have a confirmed pick up time slot or you will be turned away.
Tests can also be ordered online at COVID.gov. Every home in the U.S. is eligible to order 2 sets of 4 free at-home tests. To place an order, all you need is your name and residential address. No ID, credit card, or health insurance information is required. If you have difficulty accessing the internet or need additional support placing an order, you can call 1-800-232-0233 (TTY 1-888-720-7489) to get help in English, Spanish, and more than 150 other languages – 8am to midnight ET, 7 days a week.
