Branford's Office of the First Selectman
The Town of Branford is governed by a Board of Selectmen/Board of Finance/ Representative Town Meeting form of government.
The Board of Selectmen is an elected three-member administrative board. The board consists of three members, the First Selectman and two additional Selectmen. The First Selectman is the full-time Chief Executive and Administrative Officer of the Town. He/she is responsible for the day to day operations of Town Government and oversees all of the town departments.
The Board of Selectmen generally meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month at 5:00 p.m. at Fire Department Headquarters, 45 N. Main Street Branford CT 06405
