Pay Scale: $35.70/hour base pay
plus a 10% bonus paid quarterly if the member works 72 hours or more in the quarter, an average of three (3) shifts per month
Overview:
Due to recent full time hiring, the Town of Branford is currently recruiting experienced candidates for the position of part-time Paramedic. These positions are filled based upon availability for scheduled shifts or on an as needed basis for stand-by shifts and emergency call-ins. The current shift schedule is Sunday – Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older (prior to starting driver training)
• Must possess a valid Connecticut Paramedic License (proof required at time of resume submission; experience working on a transporting ambulance is preferred)
• Must possess a valid Connecticut Driver’s License
• Must possess a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
