At the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter we receive anywhere from 50-100 phones call a day asking for help. These phone calls consist of many different things but one of the biggest questions we get asked every day is where can I go to get financial assistance for my animals that I cannot afford…either because of spay/neuter or a required surgery or vaccinations. We wanted to provide some resources to people out there who may not know about them.
SPAY/NEUTER VACCINES
For cats there is the TEAM Van. They are a mobile unit that goes to many towns. They will spay/neuter and vaccinate your cats. Schedule & Information: 1-888-FOR-TEAM (888-367-8326)
There are vaccination clinics for dogs or cats which offer lower cost vaccination options held at Petco’s, Tractor Supply stores and Pet Smart.
