All Annual Dog Licenses Expire on June 30th
Per Connecticut state law, all dogs, six months and older and living in the Town of Branford are required to have a license and rabies vaccination. Licenses expire on June 30th and must be renewed annually. Please provide proof of current rabies vaccination. Proof of spay/neuter, if applicable, is required only at initial licensing (not necessary for renewals). Click here for details.

DOG LICENSE FEES
Neutered male, spayed female $ 8.00
Male, female $19.00
Late licensing penalty $1.00 per month or fraction thereof after July 1st.
Transfer of ownership $1.00 for new license/tag if already licensed in CT
Lost Tag $.50
Kennel Licenses $50.00 plus $.10 per tag for 10 tags
Guide dog FREE with satisfactory evidence that the dog was placed by an organization supplying such guide dogs.
