The Branford Police Department offers *free* child seat installation once per month to Branford residents. The Records Division will be organizing appointments to make sure you can be in and out with a safe seat installed!

Our staff will be asking you the make and model of vehicle, type of car seat, and will remind you that if it is a new seat, please bring it in the original box. Please bring your license, registration and insurance to your appointment.
Parking is available in the front of headquarters, 33 Laurel Street, Branford, or parallel parking on Laurel Street.
Please fill out the top portion of the Child Safety Seat Checklist form, up to and including the highlighted area for signature. The Officer will complete the rest upon safely inspection and/or installing your car seat.
