10/9/2018 - Important Information about State Election to be held Tuesday November 6, 2018
The State Election will be Tuesday November 6, 2018.

Announcement due to renovations voters living in District One your Polling location is at the Branford High School old gym at 185 East Main Street. Voters in District Seven your Polling location is at the Mary R Tisko School gym at 118 Damascus Road off Christopher Road.

Register to Voter:      
Persons may register to vote In Person any time during the working day at the Branford Town Hall in the Town Clerks Office and at the Branford Registrar of Voters Office on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s at 40 Kirkham Street from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  You must have proof of I.D.

You may register online click on. Online Voter Registration on the upper right corner of this page.

You may Register with the DMV.

To Register by Mail, a Mail-In Application may be requested from either office or printed out under forms on this page.  You are not a voter until your completed application has been received by mail and is approved and you receive confirmation from the Registrar of Voters Office.


Registration by Mail & Online Registration A Mail-In- Application for a new voter must be received by the Registrars of Voters (or postmarked) by October 30, 2018, also last day for Online Registration for applicants to be entitled to vote in the November 6, 2018 State election

Registration In Person Tuesday, October 30, 2018.  Last Regular voter registration session.  Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Applicants must appear in person to register to vote, for this State Election.  You must have proof of I.D. with you.

Monday, November 5, 2018 Limited Voter Registration Session, is the deadline for registering in person with the Registrars of Voter at 40 Kirkham Street to admit those persons seeking to vote whose qualifications as to age (become 18 years of age), U.S. citizens, or residents of the municipality (was attained since October 30, 2018) Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
